Step 1: Obtain a Referral
Psychiatrist and Paediatrician
Yes, you will need a referral letter from GP or Specialist to book an appointment with our Psychiatrist and Paediatrician.
Psychologist
No, a referral letter is not compulsory to see a Psychologist. You can book an appointment with our Psychologist without needing a referral, but it is recommended to have one. Also, if you want to claim a Medicare rebate through a Mental Health Care Plan, you will need a referral from your GP.
Step 2:
Before booking an appointment, patients must review the clinician's profile to confirm they can see you:
1. Confirm eligibility: Ensure you are not listed on our "Do Not Accept Patient" list before proceeding with your booking. Please check article "What type of patients do we not accept?" in the Help Centre.
2. Check conditions accepted: Check if the clinicians are able to treat your specific condition.
3. Check age acceptance: Check if the clinicians accepts patients within your age group, as some clinicians may have age-specific restrictions.
4. Check service area coverage: Check if the clinicians provides services in your area, as some doctors may not be able to service certain states due to prescribing regulations.
5. Check appointment type: Check if the clinicians offers face-to-face appointments, telehealth consultations, or both, as indicated on their profile.
Step 3: Book Initial Appointment
Psychiatrist and Psychologist

Paediatrician
For Paediatrician initial appointments, online booking is not available. This is because we need to determine whether your child requires a standard or complex appointment.
