If you experience side effects from your medication, here’s what you should do:
1. Monitor and Document Your Symptoms
Keep a detailed record of your side effects, including the type of symptom, when it started, how long it lasts, and its severity. This information will assist your doctor in determining the appropriate course of action.
2. Book A Consultation With The Doctor
If the side effects are mild but persistent, book an appointment online via our Online Booking page. This allows you to discuss the side effects with your prescribing doctor at the earliest available time.
3. Reschedule Your Existing Appointment To An Earlier Date
Alternatively, you can reschedule your existing appointment to an earlier date.
- Via Appointment Link from the Confirmation Email: In the appointment confirmation email, you will find a unique appointment link. Simply click on the link to reschedule your appointment.
- Via Patient Portal: Visit our Patient Portal, then go to [Upcoming Appointments], and then click [Manage Appointment] to choose a new date and time for your appointment.
During the consultation, your doctor may reassess your medication plan and explore alternative treatments if necessary.
4. Seek Immediate Medical Attention for Severe Reactions
If you experience severe side effects such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, swelling, or severe allergic reactions, call 000 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department for urgent care.
Prioritize your safety by addressing side effects promptly and maintaining open communication with your healthcare providers.
